About Us
The International Kindness Sharing (IKS) Initiative is a humanitarian, non-profit organization established with the mission of spreading compassion and hope among people. Our commitment is to provide comprehensive support to society’s most vulnerable groups, including parents and children, single adults, the elderly, widows, orphans, individuals with special needs and disabilities, immigrants and newcomers to the United States, as well as victims and survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence.
We believe no human being should face life’s hardships alone. Therefore, IKS, through its supportive, educational, and social programs, strives to ease the burden of those struggling with poverty and inequality. Our goal is to create a network of kindness in which every small act can have a profound impact on someone’s life.
With the collaboration of volunteers, donors, and the global community, we move forward in building a kinder and more just world—a world where hope remains alive, and every individual has the opportunity to grow and live with dignity.
The ّinternational Kindness sharing Organization is founded upon four main pillars that guide all of our activities and decisions
Justice
We are committed to ensuring that justice is upheld in all our services and programs, so that no individual is deprived of their human rights.
Fairness
With a fair-minded approach, we strive to recognize the needs of individuals and communities and to respond without discrimination.
Equity
We believe that all people deserve equal opportunities for growth, security, and a dignified life.
Equality
We work to reduce social disparities and to create fair conditions that enable everyone to participate fully in society.
These four values form the heart of our mission and guarantee that all of the organization’s activities are carried out in a neutral, non-political space—based solely on humanity and compassion.
International Kindness Sharing (IKS) has different local and global programs

Afghanistan
We provide immediate aid to victims of tragedies in Afghanistan, bringing comfort, dignity, and hope in their hardest times.

United State
We provide free support with food, housing, legal and medical services, job placement, and educational counseling—helping newcomers and all Virginia residents meet their essential needs with dignity.
Afghanistan
The programs of Afghanistan have two main parts:

First Section – Family Sponsorship Program:
First Section – Family Sponsorship Program:
In this program, a charitable and well-off family in the United States or Canada is directly connected with a needy and underprivileged family in Afghanistan. The supporting family provides continuous and regular financial assistance to the struggling family.
This support not only relieves the burden carried by disadvantaged households but also creates favorable conditions for the healthy upbringing and proper education of their children. In this way, deprived children grow up in a better environment, while parents facing poverty and hardship gain more opportunity and strength to nurture the next generation.
Section Two – Emergency and Immediate Relief:
Whenever a tragic incident or heartbreaking event occurs something the long-suffering people of Afghanistan have unfortunately experienced many times we act without delay. Our emergency and immediate relief efforts, delivered through the International Kindness Promotion Organization, reach those in need and the affected victims. These supports serve as a balm for the wounds of our brave yet sorrowful compatriots and bring them hope and comfort in their most difficult moments.

The United States
Our programs in the United States also have two main parts:

Section One – Basic Assistance and Essential Services
Our programs within the United States, particularly in the state of Virginia, include providing essential household items, necessary food supplies, and guidance for job placement. In addition, we assist families in finding immigration and family lawyers, and we connect them with specialized doctors such as dentists, internal medicine physicians, and ophthalmologists—all free of charge. Our goal is to ensure that newcomers, in their very first days in America, can meet their basic and essential needs without anxiety or worry.
Section Two – Educational and Housing Support
Alongside basic services, one of our key missions is providing free educational counseling, where newcomers are introduced to simpler and more accessible pathways for continuing their studies and gaining academic skills. In addition, we assist families and individuals in finding suitable housing and accommodation so that they can begin their new lives with peace of mind. These services are not limited to newly arrived Afghan immigrants but extend to all residents of Virginia—without any form of discrimination or distinction.
