Dr. Ginger Garner
Ginger Garner PT, DPT, ATC/L Dr. Garner is an active clinician, author, educator, and longtime advocate committed to improving accessibility of physical therapy and integrative, person-centered healthcare. She is the CEO of Living Well Institute, which has trailblazed interdisciplinary training in Therapeutic Yoga & Integrative and Lifestyle Medicine since 2000. She also owns Garner Pelvic Health, a private practice located in Greensboro, NC. Ginger is the author of multiple textbooks and book chapters and is an international speaker and educator, having presented at more than 20 conferences worldwide and taught continuing education coursework in integrative patient care and health promotion across a range of topics impacting pelvic health and advocacy. Ginger is an active member of The American Physical Therapy Association and has served on the board of directors for UN Women North Carolina Chapter, Domestic Violence Shelter – Carteret County Program, and other local nonprofits. She currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the Kindness Sharing Projects, serves as the Legislative Chair for APTA NC Chapter to improve accessibility and affordability of physical therapy in North Carolina, a Key Congressional Contact for APTA Private Practice, and a member of the Prenatal & 4th Trimester Task Force for APTA Academy of Pelvic Health, which recently finished helping write US House bill HR 8181. In her community, she regularly volunteers at the regional and state level doing advocacy work through policy creation; and also gives of her time and talents in music and fundraising from projects as far as Afghanistan and Haiti.
